Get found on Google Maps in Dayton or anywhere else.
Google shows three businesses in the map pack. Everyone else is behind a button nobody presses. We do the unglamorous work that decides which three — starting with the Google Business Profile most of your competitors have half-filled out.
Three Slots, And Everyone Else
A homeowner in Kettering with water coming through the ceiling types “plumber near me” and gets a map with three businesses on it. She calls one of them. She does not scroll, she does not compare ten options, and she almost certainly does not press “more places.”
That is the whole contest. Not page one — three slots, decided mostly by how relevant Google thinks you are, how close you are to her, and how prominent you look compared to the other shops in town.
Two of those three you can influence. Relevance is largely your categories, your services, and what your website says — and it is genuinely fixable in an afternoon, because most profiles out there are half-empty. Prominence is mostly reviews: how many, how recent, what rating. That one is slower, it is the part we cannot do for you, and it is where most local businesses are leaving the most on the table.
We will tell you which of those is actually your problem, even when the honest answer is “your profile is fine, go ask your customers for reviews.”
We are based in Centerville and most of our clients are here in the Miami Valley — but none of this work requires us to be down the road from you. If you are in another city entirely, it works exactly the same way. Your map pack, your competitors, your reviews.
The part most agencies won't say out loud
You can hire someone to optimize a profile, publish schema, and write service-area pages — all of it useful, all of it billable. But if your competitor has 40 recent reviews and you have three, that is usually the difference, and no amount of markup closes it. So we do the technical work properly and set up the review ask, then tell you plainly which one is holding you back. Sometimes that means telling you not to buy anything else yet.
What We Actually Do
Your Google Business Profile, filled out properly
The right primary category, every service listed with a real description, correct hours, and photos that are not three years old. Most profiles in the Miami Valley are half-empty — which is exactly why the gap is worth closing.
Reviews — the part that actually moves it
Count, rating, and recency all count, and recency is where incumbents get lazy — plenty of top-ranked profiles have not earned a review in a year. We set up the ask so it happens consistently instead of when someone remembers.
The same facts everywhere
Name, address, phone, and hours matched across your site, your schema, and your listings. A wrong ZIP in one place is small, dull, and worth fixing — Google uses the disagreement as a reason to trust you less.
LocalBusiness schema on the site
Your trade, service area, hours, and services stated in code so Google can corroborate your profile against your website instead of guessing. Included on every site we build.
Service-area pages that earn their place
Real content for the cities you actually serve — not fifteen near-identical pages with the town name swapped, which Google has recognized as doorway pages for years and discounts accordingly.
Listings that agree with each other
Apple Maps, Bing Places, and the handful of directories that matter locally — claimed and consistent. Not a blast to 500 junk directories, which stopped working a decade ago.
How It Works
Four steps, and the first one tells you whether you need the rest.
Audit what's there
We check your profile, your website, and your listings against what Google actually reads — categories, services, NAP, schema, reviews — and tell you which gaps are costing you calls.
Fix the profile
Categories, every service with a description, hours, photos, and service-area setup if you work out of a truck instead of a storefront.
Fix the site to match
LocalBusiness schema, a service-area statement that is explicit rather than implied, and city content where it is genuinely warranted — all agreeing with the profile.
Reviews, then re-check
We set up the review ask and then watch what moves. Local rankings shift, hosts change defaults, and competitors respond — so this gets looked at again rather than declared finished.
